Cubmaster - Scott Lytle

• Plan and lead Pack meetings

• Helps plan Pack activities

• Look good in a uniform (comes with the title)

• Time commitment: About 5 hours a month

Assistant Cubmaster(s) - Tom Anderson

• Assist the Cubmaster

• Time commitment: A few hours a month

Committee Chair - Dana Cesarz

• Act as the “project planner” for the Pack

• Register Pack each year

• Helps plan Pack activities

• Time commitment: A couple of hours a week

Charter Org. Rep - Ramón Robles

• Liaison with the school/chartering org (Workman PTO)

• Meet with the PTO at least once per year to give an update

• Coordinate reserving Workman rooms with PCCS (online tool)

• Assist the Committee Chair

• Time commitment: A few hours a month

Pack Secretary - Open

• Record and distribute meeting minutes

• Go-to person

• Time commitment: A few hours a month

Advancement Lead - Tom Anderson

• Run a monthly report from Scoutbook

• Go shopping at the Scout Store for listed advancement

• Organize the advancement for easy distribution at the Pack meeting

• Time commitment: A few hours a month

Recruiting Lead - TBD (Temp Dana Cesarz)

• Retrieve recruiting materials from council

• Organize participation at elementary school open houses

• Deliver flyers to schools to be distributed by classroom

• Time commitment: A few hours a month

Pack Webmaster - Open

• Update Pack website

• Maintain social media presence (optional)

• Time commitment: A few hours a month

Treasurer - Phil Black

• Manage income and expenses

• Maintain access to the Pack’s checking account

• Maintain the accounting ledger

• Use historical data to forecast budget and communicate sales goal need to Popcorn Kernel

• Time commitment: A few hours a month

Popcorn Kernel - Phil Black

• Lead popcorn sales for the Pack

• Pick up/distribute popcorn

• Book storefront opportunities

• Track popcorn sales progress

• Time commitment: About 5 hours a week during August through November

Pinewood Derby Marshall - Kyle Cesarz

• Run the annual pinewood derby races!

• Provide communications up to the race

• Be the expert on race rules

• Time commitment: A few hours a month February through March

Unit Commissioner - Pat Gubry

• A seasoned volunteer scouter assigned to help our Pack thrive

• Help us be a better part of the scouting community

2024-2025 Den Leadership Roles

The den is the heart of a Cub Scout pack, where scouts form close-knit bonds and develop essential skills through hands-on activities and teamwork. It’s within the den that scouts build friendships, gain confidence, and experience the true spirit of scouting, making it the most vital part of our pack. The Den Leaders curate these groups, enabling the most important element of Cub Scouting.
